Hello again parents,

This is a reminder that our first practice is April 4th at 5:30pm at Chubb 2 field.  If you go on the league website and click under Association then Fields you can view a map of Chubb park showing the location of field #2 and directions to the field if you have never been there.

Also, the league does not require softball fielder face masks for players at this level and most girls did not wear one last year, but I did get one for my daughter this year.  It is entirely up to the parents and speed of play at this level is slow so most balls are not going to be travelling very fast.  However, if interested, they can be purchased on Amazon for under $40 or at Dicks etc.  The mask should help the confidence of the player when having a catch or trying to field balls.  Also, as the girls advance and the speed of play increases at the higher levels as they get older in future years, many teams use them so my feeling was it's helpful to have my daughter get used to wearing one at an earlier age.
